Plant to attend to better understand the New Testament by learning about the confusing collection of Herods who grew from a simple crime family into the rulers of Judaea and beyond. We will explore their inclusion in Scripture and their connections with the rich and famous like Julius Caesar, Marc Antony, Caesar Augustus, Cleopatra, and more.
Along the way, we will tour “Herod’s Temple” to see where Jesus confronted the oligarchs of his time, where he taught, where a widow gave her mite, and more.
